Hi, I am looking for advice on getting a dash cam with parking sensor. I have found a few but they are come with a rear point camera. My van hasn't got glass in the rear so this would be pointless. What would yous recommend?
Thanks

I have a thinkware u3000, the features are useful. I turn the vibration sensor up so I get alerts if the doors are opened.
You could use the rear camera to monitor the inside, the u300 can send video clips of movement detected.

If you have poor rear vision or no at all due to having no rear windows then a system that allows you see see rearwards would be a very good idea. You could have a semi permanent rear view or a more conventional on only when reversing. If you have a vehicle with poor passenger side vision when pulling away from awkward junctions one could include or have a camera for that. I have not tried any but someone has recently posted about his camera system and it appears very good.

I have a Road Angel Halo Go - absolute waste of money - interface to watch footage a joke.

Cheap and cheerful Dashcam for my wife’s car (no frill's) fitted last week so can’t say about durability - but working well for a cheap front facing Dashcam - so far.

Not sure if has parking sensor as power socket not live with ignition off.

Amazon

If want park sensor need two positive feeds (1) on ignition live ((2) live all the time - so hardwire kit will help.

Oh - don’t where you live from your profile - I used a major car and bike company (Rustington) - complete jokers and admitted after 4 visits faults and don’t have qualified staff .So if not fitting yourself have a think who you trust.
