Dash cam feed not affected by Stop/Start?

Hi all
I’ve tried searching for this but without success, but does anyone know if there’s a fuse I can piggyback for my dash cam wiring which isn’t affected by the Stop/Start? Currently whenever the St/St kicks in the dash cam turns off and back on when the engine starts again. Van is a 2021 T6.1 Startline/Business.
Cheers

That’s not normal behaviour, where have you connected it ?
An ignition live circuit from the fusebox should be fine

Just checked and it’s in F46. Does that sound right or should it be in a different one?
Cheers

My mate wired mine in and mine does the same.
Sounds like I need to swap the piggyback fuse on mine too. Mines a 2022 Sportline.

This could be down to the dashcam and not the van. My dashcam has a low voltage cut off to protect the SB from being discharged when in parking mode. The dashcam could be seeing the Volt drop when the van restarts or stops and automatically shutting down. The threshold for shutdown is in the dashcam settings, or at least it is on mine.

Good point, Salty, I’ll check it out. My dash cam is one of those that doubles as a rear view/reverse camera that covers the rear view mirror and it came came with the van.
Thanks for the advice 👍

My Nextbase would cycle off and on with the stop/start so I added a capacitor into the supply to keep the voltage up briefly and that blew the fuse so I added a resistor to reduce the charge current and a diode on the output.
That didn’t work!
There I swapped the battery in the Dash cam and it's fine now!

I’m having that issue, what type battery did you change too?
