Anybody else’s T6 possessed as much as mine, picked up on 3rd Oct last year, so far it’s been keyed on every panel, had a lump of cast iron go through the front and smash the bumper and both rads, been bumped by a piss head, used 2lt of oil per month, folding mirror stopped working and this week alone, 2 punctures needing 2 new tyres, and now the engine warning light has come on ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Although you’ve given me some hope as it seems your having worse luck

Had a lot of money spent on it
Water pump
Sump gasket (spilt oil on the new drive)
Also got keyed only once tho
Now has developed a fault with the front right parking sensor
Bumper off swapped right and left sensors
Still a fault on front right
Which must mean wiring problems = bloody expensive
Also gone through two new windscreens within the last year
Was hoping not to spend any more money on it when I ordered the new one but that isn’t coming anytime soon (see another thread)
Although some poor sod on here waiting a long time for his t6.1 to come
Then got written off within a week and the insurance can’t get him another one

We must be mental loving these things I didn’t love my wife but stuck it out for 25 years so God help me with War Machine (kids idea) and mine had the water pump and gear box done under warranty before I got it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good luck with the van. Apart from the oil usage/EML and mirror (which could have been a result of being hit) the rest sounds like your neighbourhood is the problem

Oh mate I am saddened to hear about your bad luck. Normally our T6 vans are fairly reliable with little to complain about. I had a Honda Civic like that. It was Tesco'd and then a smackhead ran over it, whilst we were in it one evening, driving. Every single panel and the windscreen was dented by the heavy footprints of the dude as he ran up and over it.
Some very brave girls followed us down a dark street as we went straight to the police station and said where he'd gone...
When I traded it in, the sales exec commented on how the bodywork looked like new.
