Curious about cost of T6.1 Oil Change EU vs UK

Hi all

About to do my first oil change on my 2024 T6.1 Caravelle (UK Shuttle) out here in Spain with an official VW dealership. I've done 12k miles but fancy getting it in early to show a bit of early love for the engine. Was quoted 370EUR (approx £320) inc oil filter change....shocking. Curious to see what other folks in the UK and EU are being quoted by VW dealers.

it's a 0.6 hr job 0.8 if undertray fitted) of labour, plus parts, plus VAT.

Spain's VAT is a percentage point higher than ours, and their business taxes are higher too, so not surprising its a bit spendy out there.

If your a Brit’ living in Spain with an expensive vehicle there’s a very good chance you’ll pay more.

Thanks folks. Looking into it, it seems that my Caravelle is classed as a 'commercial' vehicle in Spain's VW dealer network. As I don't have a commercial/business fleet servicing arrangement with them they're simply applying a non-discounted rate. The system won't accept me as a standard punter. Dumb.

FYI In the end it worked out at €300 (£260) inc VAT at VW

FYI that it is exactly half of what I paid 1 year ago in Austria and double of what an indipendent chain (Norauto) offered in Italy, saying that VW could not invalidate the warranty for that.
Unfortunately I had some issues to be looked at so I went to VW.
