Have a ctek 250 sa I’ve put the solar panel to it and the lights have gone from green to orange is this a fault can anyone share some light on this please thanks

Which lights have changed. Is the error light flashing?

What is the spec of your solar panel. Is the open circuit voltage less than 23v?

The green stand by light is still on flashing etc it’s the bottom two on the right both orange they are not flashing but staying on orange when the motor is running the solar is a 130 w single panel

So the green light is flashing but the other two are on also or is the green light on steady?

No the green light is flashing when the van is off then comes on as normal when it comes on the a is orange and the bat is orange but the solar is blank
It was all working green lights etc untill I put the solar on yesterday but the van hasn’t moved in 10 days is the orange to say it’s charging the van bat or is it f***ed up

Have you got a link to the panel you have fitted. We need to know the VOC

The a on the ctek is flashing orange but the bat is orange no flash
In none of the scenarios in the manual should the orange 'A' light flash. It's either on steady or not lit. The only light that flashes is the green power light. If its on steady then the unit is working, if it's flashing then the CTEK is in standby

The a on the ctek is def flashing orange the standby light is flashing as usual

Your open circuit is under the max amount so that's good , as above states there shouldn't be eny flashing orange lights , also if your battery is fully charged then you should have a steady orange light on the A if your engine is running and a steady orange on the solar if there is sunlight and you battery light will stay off if fully charged as it will be in trickle mode

In that pic the solar panel is not charging the battery but the alternator is. But it’s not sunny so I wouldn’t expect the solar to be charging the battery. Have you checked the connections at the solar panel end, can you disconnect it and measure the voltage it’s outputting.

Yeah yer right lol , I can only see one negative cable but possibly it is there but can't see it , can you confirm you have wired it like the diagram below , also I can see your green light and orange A light and orange battery light , can you confirm your engine is on at time of the pic and also they 3 lights mentioned are not flashing
