Crew van or panel van for camper conversion

Good afternoon all

I’m looking at starting another camper conversion. come across a few crew vans which already have tailgate and windows installed at a similar price to startline panel vans without tailgate . I could remove the Bench sheet to do the conversion. I’ve seen a few crew vans that are reasonably priced in comparison to standard panel Vans. Anything else I need to be aware of buying a crew van is there a reason why they are priced cheaper? Anything missing?

I presume you're comparing like with like WRT age, mileage, spec, etc? If so, it strikes me as odd that a used PV would cost more than an equivalent Kombi - that certainly wasn't the case when I was in the market for a brand new van. I can't think of anything "missing" on a Kombi that you'd get on a PV.
