Creaky seat!

Particularly when it’s cold, my drivers seat creaks like mad, seemingly from somewhere around the handbrake/seat adjuster area on the left hand side. It seems to get better once it’s been creaking for 20 minutes/half an hour, almost like it’s ok once it warms up!

I’m looking to try & find where I should be squirting some white grease or something as it’s driving me nuts

Anyone offer any help/pointers as to where I should look at spraying (or other suggestions would be welcomed!).

Sorted! Turns out the plastic trim (between the seat & handbrake) was squeaking/rubbing against the turn wheel. Popped the wheel off, coated the spindle with white grease & squeak/creak free!

Glad to hear you sorted it! I have the same problem, I thought I’d nailed it down to the trim so you just confirmed it hopefully

Same issue here just started last week and driving me nuts, even turning up the radio doesn't work.

The whole part just prises off with a trim tool (or very gently with a flat screwdriver)
