Crank case oil seal

Morning. I have a 2019 T6 (one of the last before the arrival of the 6.1 I suspect). The crankcase oil seal is leaking, and it's not covered under the extended warranty (although it was booked in as a warranty claim).
I spoke to a local independent VW specialist who said that if it's not dripping, it shouldn't be a massive problem in the short term. There are no drips where we park it so it's probably weeping at worst.

Is this an urgent job or can it be left for the moment - the oil level hasn't dropped significantly since the beginning of summer when I checked it before 2 trips to France. I managed to get a slightly blurry screen shot from the video.....
Opinions would be appreciated

Cheers

Give it all a good clean and you'll then see how bad it's leaking. It will need doing though as it will only get worse and as the cambelt need to come off you may as well get the changed at the same time.

Not an urgent job, but needs doing.

I've had it done twice....

Quick update: took it to a local VW/Audi specialist wh put it on the ramp and cleaned everything up. Returned 3 weeks later for a routine oil service....... all clear, no leak evident so all is well.

Many thanks to NG Motors in Tremorfa, Cardiff who couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant - will be returning for all my work there in future
