Hi, am hoping someone may be able help / been here before…

Can the DSG oil cooler seals be replaced without taking the coolant hoses off on the top of it? Am hoping to not have to drop all the coolant again.

Also, anyone know the torque specs for the oil cooler bolts?

Thanks

I’m not familar with a DSG but the hoses could be clamped, plus if the expanion tank cap is tight it shouldn’t be able to drain as there will be a liquid lock

Unfortunately not, I took my DSG cooler off with the intention of replacing it with an Audi TT R version, but it diddnt pan out, the cooler sits on top of the DSG box, it will be full of coolant & DSG oil, if you take it off, you’ll need to change the oil and coolant to ensure you don’t have any cross contamination
