Courtesy interior light

Hi can I hide the connection under my roof panel or do I need to isolate the popper to the courtesy light? Hers a pic. Any help would be great thank yoo.

Not sure what you mean by 'isolate the popper' but if you don't need the wire for anything there's no reason you can't hide it away as long as there's no bare wires that could short out.

Thank you it was meant to say isolate the power to that lead as it has a connection on the end that would go onto the interior light, two prong types. I don’t know if that could short out? Electrics aren’t my strong point :)
 
Also now have a warning light on my dash - checked all my exterior lights which are working fine so I’m assuming it’s due to the interior lights?

The interior lights aren’t monitored so it must be something else
 
On closer inspection of your picture it looks like the connector is still plugged in to a part of the light. The black part should separate from the beige part which looks to have some bare copper contacts sticking out of it, dont let these touch any of the metalwork in the van. If this has already happened it could explain the bulb out warning.
