Hi Guys,
My van isn't getting much use at the moment whilst I'm converting it, however, I took it for a 40 minute run to work the other morning to keep the battery topped up.
It was quite cold (-1) but even so, after 40 minutes of mixed driving with the heaters on '2' the coolant temp was still indicating less than 90 degrees. It did reach 90 on a couple of occasions but soon dropped off dependent on engine load etc.
I understand from previous VW's that the temp sensors are only an indication at anything less than 90, and I'm assuming the T6 is no different so I'm a bit concerned I have an issue.
Has anyone else has noticed this? It almost as if the thermostat is stuck open, however, with the van being completely stripped out, I'm wondering if its just that I'm not really 'loading' the engine. It does seem like I'm just resting my foot on the accelerator most of the time, even with only 105Hp.
