Coolant leak

Took the afternoon off today to rest as been busy lately walked up the drive and gave the van a glance and saw the patch of doom ( coolant) further investigation I suspected the coolant elbow once I’d managed to in btanfle it from the engine was surprised to find the gasket had failed pain in the arse but at least it was when parked and not puking it’s water out driving, ordered new one from TPS will be here in morning £35 with the sensor

That looks like a manufacturing fault when the silicone was moulded in?

No I think in previous ownership it’s had a fuel rail sensor replaced possibly for a leak and it’s caused the seal to swell see it a lot with these on the old PD engine it was common, should have it done tonight if I’m allowed out to play
