Cool pop top

Hi all - currently in mid France enjoying the weather but wondering if my black pop top on a dark brown van was a wise choice for European travel.
Considering a white/cream top half wrap - has anyone done this and noticed a difference in internal temperature?

@czmate1999 has a poptop wrap.

And travels through Europe regularly.

Steve, have you used it to block the sun/heat.

Makes perfect scense to me.

FYI, I have a Dark grey van and Black poptop and an regularly seeing 45C in the back ATM......

Hi @Dellmassive - not quite sure what you asking me - I've got 40 plus in the direct sunshine - was asking if anyone had first hand experience of a lighter colour on internal temperature - parked up in a shady forest at mo but still mid 30s ambient!

Its not easing up. Temps forecast for mid to high 30's all next week throughout France. We are currently sheltering in our little Gite with the fans on full blast, its truly too hot

I live in Australia and have a white van and white pop top and when its really hot and parked in the sun the interior is still very hot.
Parking in the shade is the only thing that helps a bit.

These pictures was taken when it was over 40 degrees Celsius. We are parked in the full sun at a music festival and had to put out everything we could to make shade but the van interior was still boiling inside.
All the shady spots had already been taken.
