Been told my Caravelle should be here in a few weeks, so I'm ordering my wheels and although I'm 99% sure they'll fit I just want to double check with you guys.
I've got 19" 8.5J 35ET with 245/45 on the front of mine so your wheel will be 3mm less poke then mine (sticking out less) and 3mm nearer your hub on the inside. Your tyre will be slightly wider (incidentally 255 is max tyre width recommended on a 8.5J wheel, 235 or 245 ideal and 225 skinniest) and slightly taller due to 45% 0f extra width.
Are you going to lower it? This is what mine looks like with the front inner arch sitting on the tyre!!!!
Yeah I went for the 45 tyre as I'm a wheelchair user and want the ride to be as comfortable as possible.
As for lowering, it's a Caravelle Executive, so will be 40mm lower than a Transporter as standard I think. I'd like to go lower, but theres an underfloor wheelchair lift as bellow, so I'm not sure I'll be able to go much lower with out it catching.
