Composition Media EQ Settings

Hey guys, has anyone had a play with the EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) settings on their composition media unit? I'm running the standard Kombi 4 speaker setup up front (with Silent Coat) and can't seem to get the bass to sound right. It seems to be really boomy for the vast majority of songs. Seems to sound the same irrespective of if I play through car play or the SD card. Also, it seems if I have any more that about 20% on the mid scale, the quality and dept of the sound drops off a cliff!

Is there anything I could do with Vagcom to open up some more settings? Its probably worth noting that I've added a couple of speakers to the rear and not enabled the fader option yet as they seem to be balanced fine without it. Could that be affecting things?

Change to four speaker fader this might help you get a more balance sound stage.. What rears did you use, and any pics of their instal?

Ah ok, does that give any more options that the two speaker fader in terms of EQ?

I'm running Pioneer TS-G1732i's I'm the rear. Didn't need anything too flash as we hardly listed to music on the back. Saying that, they are pretty impressive for suck a cheap unit.

Mounted them in custom rear arch panels for the retro look....
