Comforser CF1100 255/45 R18.

Has anyone fitted these or indeed any other size of this brand. I am thinking of changing to these from my 16" Claytons with road tyres. They will be fitted to 18" Calibre X Load Alloy Wheels. I understand thet they are slightly suspect in the wet. I am a sedate driver, I never go above sixty five MPH as I am always trying to keep my consumption to 48 MPG. I understand this will decrease with the fitting of same. Looking forward to your feedback guys.

I have 245/65r17 cf1100 tyres on my van. I find they have plenty of grip and are perfectly fine in the wet, especially deep puddles at the side of the road that would aquaplane with road tyres. Guessing the deep tread sheds water well. My mpg hasn't altered from my previous 275/40r20 road biased tyres but going from claytons you will notice a slight increase in mpg. They have a different road noise but no louder than the previous ones. They are also way more comfortable than the 20's. If you drive it as a van around fast bends rather than a sports car you'll find plenty of dry grip too. I won't hesitate to replace with the cf1100 again when needed.

Thanks for your feedback JcI68, it is much appreciated to get the view of somebody that obviously drives a van like a van and not a sports car ! Thanks mate.
