Chrome Side Streamers

Hi, does any one know the depth of the factory chrome side streamers on the caravelle vs aftermarket ones?

The Vanstyle aftermarket ones are quite deep at 50mm top to bottom...



The one at the bottom of the tailgate is a bit more subtle... ish. I do like my bling!

Cool, thanks, I'm thinking of adding one but wrapping/ painting it gloss red. I mocked this up in MSpaint yesterday But wanted to gauge the depth a bit more

These particular ones are a stainless steel stamping that follows the body crease so not terribly three dimensional, they're probably not going to look a lot different to a stuck on stripe.

The Caravelle ones are 35mm deep. Both the side and tailgate ones.

Found myself in the local VW van dealership today. Had a chance to look at the genuine side chrome on a caravelle. I can see how they differ from the van style ones now
