Fitted the B pillar table leg from Chippys Workshop today.
First I drilled 4 7mm holes to install M5 rivnuts aka nutsert.
Working blind, the two nutserts in the righted worked out ok, the two on the left, closest to the door seal had limited room behind the pillar, but I managed to fit the nutserts. Unfortunately I had ordered 25mm countersunk stainless steel machine screws which are too long, this will be sorted by using 15mm long screws.
Was hoping to leave the table in the van permanently, however, with the double front bench seat, the seat needs sliding forward about 50mm to be able to fold the table against the back of the seat without restricting the legroom of the rear seat passengers, doh!!!!
Anyway, with the front passenger seat folded it works a treat. Might invest in a swivel base for the front seat and a larger rectangular table to make a nice eating area when camping in Welsh weather.
