60mm. Do yourself a favour and buy some proper exhaust and ducting. I found Bowers excellent.
It's a REALLY tight fit on the inlet, as they assume it won't be ducted and just add a plastic 'cover' grille thing. I found it needs a fair bit of encouragement and the Bowers stuff is easier. The supplied exhaust is too short and can't be fitted once cut, so assumes the silencer goes on the end. It also splits when you bend it. Again the Bowers/Webasto stuff solves this.
cheers Boxelder, looking to marry heater up with the oem ducting and wondering if i need different sized reducers or not. all of the heaters seem to be of the same design with a screw cap and grill on one end
If 60mm is too tight use 63mm.
Chinese heater ducts can be 75mm - it all depends upon the model. Some have 4 small outlets.
Silencer should be sited close to the heater for best results. Just use a piece of proper exhaust rather than the tin foil Chinese carp.
Hmm, mine's a 2KW. I think the 5KW may be 75mm. A 5KW heater has the exhaust and combustion air centrally positioned. 2KW are off set (as the heater body is shorter/smaller).
oem duct is 75mm so i'll go for 5kw version. will give it a go and see how it works out. if it doesn't last then ill go for the eberspacher at point of failure. cheers
