Hi guys as its a nice evening in sunny Bognor Regis I decided give the van a clean with Gtechniq W3 ceramic wash . Having read the instructions on the bottle it should not be done in direct sunlight ( I was in the shadows of the house ) and the panels must be cool so also ok . I didn't realise the stuff was so dangerous until I read the safety instructions !!20260704_182540.webp20260704_182603.webp

Years ago, I bought a Black & Decker hot air gun / paint stripper and the box had a sticker on it saying something like 'WARNING VERY HOT WHEN SWITCHED ON - DO NOT USE AS A HAIRDRYER' (which would have taken a special kind of stupid but somebody, somewhere probably has!).

I use this product quite a bit.
The trick is, one panel at a time.
I apply it neat to a dry wash mitt, then wipe on rinse of a panel at a time, especially this time if year.

In winter, I can do the whole of one side at a time before I rinse off.
The rinse off stage must be very thorough. It is a fantastic product if done correctly.

Thanks Dan it was my first use of the product Thanks for the advice I was thinking along the same lines eg get the roof done first then each panel afterwards. Same technique as using clay bar 👍
