Carrying a Tandem in/on the T6 Camper LWB

Morning All,

Hoping the power of "T6 Forum" be able to give me some advice on carrying a Tandem in or on the T6 please.

I remember a mate saying he has seen a Tandem on the back of T6.

The Van has the VW 4 bike carrier fitted.

If I take the wheels off it still too long to fit the rack with some adaptors.

I struggle to fit my Pashley Guvnor on my vw rack as the adjusters won't go any wider, a tandem is about twice the width so I can't see how it could possibly fit ? Or be a danger to cyclists on the road sticking out either side of your van.
I think your best bet and safest is to fit roof bars and lay it on your roof and strap it down.

I was wondering if there is way to fit the Tandem Straight up from tow bar to roof.
