Hi all,

Can anyone please recommend a supplier of a cargo net that reaches all four lashing points in a Kombi SWB?

Cheers

PS still got my Devonports for sale..........!

I made one out of webbing for our Landcruiser as I found that bungee ones over that distance tend to sag a lot with just a few things up there.
By using webbing it doesn't stretch, I just bought a large roll quite cheaply and use lashing rails and rail clips to hold it, then used a hot glue gun where the straps cross.

Never thought of using a hot glue gun....I put a stitch through the overlaps! (And, I detest sewing!!!)

It’s not so hard to make a cargo net, plenty of Youtube videos.

Let us know the outcome with Rock N Road as was also thinking about this. If reasonable would much rather have something that works well compared to anything I could possible cobble together

Brad at rock&road very very helpful - seems a long chat over the phone and they can pretty much offer whatever you’re looking for - opened a good can of worms because now I’m thinking not only securing tools etc down but also alternative options for the downhill mountain bikes, helmets etc etc - going to take some planning so may take some time but will post update once I’ve worked out what’s going to work best!
