Tow eye hook cover cap removal Startline T6.1

Hi all. We got stuck in the mud on a grass pitch earlier this year. Thankfully we managed to get out without being towed. This has got me thinking in case it happens again. Should I need to screw in the tow eye hook how do I remove the cover plate on the plastic bumpers on my T6.1 Startline. Do I need a trim removal tool and if so what is recommended and do I start from the top?. Or can you insert a small Allen key into the hole on this cover and just pull. Looked all over the net and cannot find an answer. Thanks in advance.

Having watched the THQ video on bumper swaps, that little cover plate is the last bit to go into the dog bones, just clipping/pushing in. I would imagine a trim tool from the top would be the way to go... keep us posted!

From the manual - there is a hook to remove it in the toolkit with the towing eye
