If you fit Caravelle rails do you need new seats can you adapt your original ones with bases and does it change your insurance
Used to own a Caravelle should have paid more attention !!!!

You will need different seats. The amount of manufacturing you’d need to make Kombi seats fit them by chopping and welding would probably make it cost prohibitive. The other problem is that to get hold of the seat specific parts for a Velle, would no doubt mean you’d need to chop Velle seats apart in the first place.
Your easiest option would be talking to someone like Colin @VWVC, based in Witney Oxfordshire. He can give you a certificate of installation for your insurance company, and fits a heck of a lot of Velle flooring and seats in Kombi’s/ PV’s.
