Can I reset service interval without steering wheel controls ?

Title pretty much has it. Just had a full service done on my 69 plate Trendline by my mate, an ex main dealer commercial mechanic. He can’t reset the service interval because he doesn’t have the new VAG disc for his laptop. Can I do it manually without have steering controls or do I now need to use a separate garage to rest it for me ?

You should be able to use the buttons on the wiper switch. They do the same as a mfsw

For T6:

Reset Oil Change Service ---> on page 23 in the Owner's manual ---> T6 Owners Manual
Reset Inspection ---> on page (23-) 24

Worth to note that resetting oil change as above will activate fixed oil service regime.

Carista: Service Due Reset - Does It Affect Fixed Vs Flexible?

Does anyone have any experience of using the Carista feature to reset the 'Service Due' indication? Does it work OK on T6? Does it affect/corrupt the Service Regime (Fixed/Flexible) your van is set to? Can you change the Service Regime using Carista? Thanks! D.
