Campervan electrics help!

Hi all

So I have a t6.1 which was converted just over 2 years ago.

The electrics have always worked great however the leisure battery has never been the greatest and I would really like to upgrade a few parts this year before the season starts so we can have some solid power when out n about .

Is there anyone on here whos a dab hand at helping me run through a couple of things .

I’ve done a simple wiring diagram along with some pictures showing what my current setup is and what I’d like to change too.

But basically I’d like tk change the battery to a lijtium
One and therefore I assume update the dc charger and battery charger etc at the same time .

I’ve had my eye on some ecoworthy stuff

And wondered if this would still suit .

Initially I was however will
Depend on the size of the battery

Assume that’s what you may have meant ?

Yea mate under the seat will be limited by space , there are big battery’s available that fit but not much room for anything else. Look for seatbase battery’s from roamer / fogstar.

I think with that particular battery under the seat would be impossible. I did look myself at that battery as thought a good price and if I remember correctly it's quite a large size

Yeah this is my initial, tbh I’m happy to relocate or also reading it can be mounted on its side if it’s. Life po4 one .

I’m a Transit builder usually, so I look at the layout differently. If it were me, I’d ditch the under-seat idea entirely. Rehouse the battery in a dedicated spot—like a rear bench or by the wheel arch—and keep the solar controller and master switch right next to it. If things go wrong, you need to reach that isolator in seconds, not after unbolting a seat.
Also, look at your weight distribution. Don't just think about where the battery fits; think about your water tanks and other heavy gear. Keep the center of gravity balanced. If your solar isn't matched to the battery bank size, the whole upgrade is a waste of money anyway.

I chose to ditch under the front seat location for a dedicated battery box that fits under my rear seat/bed, being a mobi frame,I can slide it forward to easily access the battery, the chargers, and in the future solar controller, being a dedicated area, contains the controller and plug sockets front and rear.
