came across this fault while checking my wiring

hi all do we just take the vans we bye that all is good and fault free i found this the van is a expert build i had a problem with my install sergeant 155 and while look for this fault i thought you might be interested in 76756840-1f6e-469d-a5df-c958f0b6811c.jpg
 
yep very professional one of the wires is battery + feed to van battery and the other is on ignition sense van was not charging any battery even tho the control panels lights where flashing as they should
 
Dunno what’s on the other end of the cables, it might all be electrically correct, but it looks sh1te, & if it looks sh1te it probably is. You have to wonder what other horrors are hidden away. Personally I’d be having a stern word.
 
hmm . . not seen that before.

looks like they are taking a un-fused feed off the two main fusebox busbars.

not good.

they should have just fitted crimp-fuse-pins and used spare slots above. - then fused appropriately
 
Spade connectors glued into fuse connections? Maybe as a ‘get you home’ fix, but crikey that’s never a permanent solution.
