Calling all people with the shortarse gene

Hi,
What is the shortest person who drives an unmodified T6 with original driver's seat?

My daughter has recently passed her test and has the shortarse gene, like myself. (I had to put this in as she is watching me type this and is absolutely mortified ).
She is about 5ft 2" and doesn't feel that comfortable. Before changing any settings and screwing around with steering wheel position etc, any tips or is this just too short?

Does it feel like a parachute jump when you get out of the van?
Height obviously has some bearing but I guess what really counts is how long your arms and legs are.
More worrying is being too close to the steering wheel.
I’ve seen a non UK helicopter co-pilot land a helicopter sideways because he couldn’t see over the control panel.
Anything’s possible.

Luckily the rotor on top of the van fell off last year.
These vans are an optical illusion. They look big but are smaller than most chelsea tractors on the road.
Think that is what is putting her off. Will get her to try again when it cools down.

Turns out it is a moot point.
Tricky to get temporary insurance for someone who only passed their test a few days ago without making my premiums hit outer space and taking the chance with my NCD so looking at temporary insurance.

Newly passed driver, less than a month -
For anyone in the same position, looked out of the window and saw a tiny car with a 1 litre engine so as an experiment typed in that registration number (£310 or £160 with blackbox), and that comes up at pretty much the same monthly premium (temporary insurance) as a 1.6 litre van (£340 with no option of blackbox), but they wouldn't give a quote for my 2litre T6.

Classic case of computer says no.....

I remember my sister's zippy little 1.2l Citroën C2 costing next to nothing for her at 17 to insure!

Then a 2.0l Alhambra was like astronomical!

When my girls turned 17, I bought them a car each with the proviso they had to be group 1 insurance - that avoided thousands in insurance premiums over the first five years.

Back on the subject, one of them is around 5'4" (at a guess) and has no trouble driving our T6

The population of southern europe aren’t renown for their basketball teams and they drive the same vans as northern europeans and much faster.

Where we live - we are limited to parking. Nearest 'non-restricted' parking is about 45minute walk. So, for now, another car is out of the question. She'll have to drive the missus's vehicle.

There was a manager where I worked years ago who was shall I say vertically challenged. Occasionally he had to drive a forklift truck & one of his staff fitted wooden blocks to the pedals. Apparently he failed to see the funny side of it. 😂 😂
