Cabling for Bluetti Charger 2

With the Bluetti Charger 1 in the garage awaiting warmer weather to install, I have now paid for the upgrade to the Charger 2, as I think it will suit my needs better later on.

Thinking towards the fitting, I want to install the Charger 2 under my drivers seat, so I can run the charge cables out to the Bluetti sitting under the rear double seat with cabling sitting neatly out of the way of feet.

Is it just a case of removing the passenger seat and lifting carpet on that side to slide the cable under to the driver seat or will I need to remove that seat too? I have factory heated seats, so will that add any issues?

With respect to getting the cable through the bulkhead, is it just a case of removing the glovebox and the battery and then feeding the cabling through a grommet which is already in place?

Apologies if I am way off the mark, but I have not removed any of the cab or dash sections so far.

Sorry i cant help with your question buddy. Im probably going to pay to get mine installed with the heater.

I wonder if you can provide any info on what cables and fuse box etc i’ll require for a charger 2 - Bluetti ac180 set up? Im not really sure whats required.

Cheers

I have the charger 1 and will be putting in the charger 2 this week at some point when I get a second, the upgrade is a simple swap with the addition of a D+ cable.

For the initial install of the charger 1, I had the seats out and pulled up to he carpet to run the cables, it was a pain to do, but made it much easier to run the + and - battery cables from the battery to drivers side. Without taking the seats up it would have been extremely difficult and frustrating to run under the carpet into the channels that are there, as the bolts push it down tight.

Pulling the carpet up also gave me access to the rubber grommet without taking out the glove box - I came into the cab from the engine bay.

It’s a fiddly but totally possible DIY job!

Heated seats are fine, just take a photo of all the cables etc before removing.

Just connect the NEG to chassis, no need to run it back to the engine bay.

You only need the Red fused POS up there.
Yeah I wish I had done it his - squeezing 2 wires though the grommet has left little space for anything else should I want to run cables in. Maybe if I ever take the carpet out again I’ll bring negative inside.

Is anyone having problems with there charger 2? Im getting low to 0w out put. Im upto date on firmware and got the D + cable conected. Any advice welcome
