Cab ceiling & interior light unit

Does anyone have a guide of how to get into the headliner / ceiling in the cab - I need to replace a usb socket that in the poptop frame above it.

Also I was thinking of routing a feed from that to have a couple of qi chargers in the cubby in the centre light unit so at night we can just slide the phones in to charge. Is this easy to access to either put a double usb socket in the back if there’s room??

Pop the centre cabin lights unit out. A few screws behind that. Liner is also held in by the rubber over the doors and the top of the A pillars.

If you do it on your own you have prop it in place with your head while trying to line everything up and get the screws in all at the same time ....much easier with 2 people .
A pillars off , handles, glasses holder, sun visors , cubby trim ....

Yes. Anything that is screwed through the headlining into the body/roof will need removing

Not sure if T6.1 and T6 the same do apologies. But mines a T6.1. If you look at this thread:

Towards the end I posted a few photos of the clips etc and some info on how to remove courtesy light cluster.

Then I removed sunvisors, grab handle and A Pillar trims, and the threshold strip between cab and rear of van.

I got mine out on my own but agree a set of hands just to hold it in place does help refit.

Top tip - get some new clips for the Threshold strip, as they love to break.

Vehicle Clips .co.uk have them.

Plenty of guides on here too if you search. (That’s where I found most of my upfront info).

thanks, sometimes you need to know what you’ll be into before you start - and not a 5 min job!!

As much self adhesive 10mm thick closed cell foam as you can fit up there makes a big difference to the cab noise levels.
In places 20mm will fit.
