Pop top usbc / lights

Can anybody help with this one.

I have had a pop top fitted and it all been carpeted but now I would like to put a double usb socket and two lights up there. Is it possible to take a feed from the interior light cluster?

Yep!
Permanent live there with switching on the negative. If I remember right… which is less often these days!

Except the perm live probably goes to sleep after 20 minutes or so. Did on my T5 anyway, I assume the 6 is the same.

Ah! Yes I forgot that… but thinking about it I know there’s 3 cables and you can you switch them on/off/timed worth testing - I run mine off the LB in my camper and the timed wire in my work van!
