buzzing noise emitted by the electric power steering on a T6.1

When the engine is warm, and especially in tight corners at low speed, a humming sound comes from my front wheels. After inspection, the CV joints, differential, wheel bearings, and tires seem to be fine. That leaves the electric power steering as a possible cause. Analysis revealed the sound has a frequency of 62 Hz plus a third harmonic (186 Hz). It sounds like the system is sometimes oscillating. The power steering itself seems to function correctly, but there's a vibration in the steering wheel when exiting corners occasionally. Has anyone else experienced this?
