Is there a way to identify if I have H4 or H7 bulbs without taking them out to check?

Heres a pic showing the difference, you can tell by where your DRLs are when you turn the ignition on but generally if its a van or kombi unless specced otherwise when ordering it will be the H4 units

Do you actually use the sidelights? I don't really see the point in them any more now there are separate DRLs, unless you leave it parked with them on. I'm always either on DRLs or headlights

I thought they were on at the same time as the headlights you would have the white of the headlight bulb with a yellow sidelight bulb on in the same unit

I have Osram nighbreaker laser +130% H4 bulbs with Osram LED pilot lights. The DRLs are Twenty20 Cree LED (no canbus errors but do effect DAB reception a bit).

A big improvement all round!

Yeah the Osram nightbreakers make the H4 headlights work pretty well!

Finally got round to fitting my H11 fogs, also got some side light bulbs, but been a dick ordered the wrong P21w

Thanks to @foggy3061 I've gone and got the same osram 130%+ nightbreaker fitted
(some fun when air filter box clipped dropped) however can't wait for darkness
Already can see a positive difference

They made a good improvement to the H4s, makes them usable!

I got the GE equivalent of the nightbreakers and found them a usable improvement

Hi, will be uprating the H4,Fog and Running lights and ask is the main and running lights can be on at the same time with some VCDS changes?

Hi all, new to the forum.
I upgrade my dip headlights to led due to needing a replacement right light build. Working grade but the light on the dash is still on. Anyone know how to turn it off o reset?
