Okay, firstly I am annoyed at myself. In short, have a t6 and the handle outside the tailgatw failed. Bought a new one and replaced. In replacing it, noticed that whoever had van before me had not fitted the bottom most bolt to the metal bracket that holds the electrical actuator in place (the gold looking one in the photo). I thought I would make good, and on checking bolt fit annoyingly dropped a nutthat nicely fell into that jaw mechanism. Typical luck. I tried a magnet, np joy and i couldn't see it but the lock worked. Shut the boot. Now mechanically i cannot open it...the elctrical drivibg acuator keepa popping out. I think the nut is stopping me opening the boot. Here is a shot from inside. ANY help would be appreicated as at present, mechanically it wont open and run out of ideas!!! Is there an open emergency catch as the normal mechanical lever is solid.
