Blocked pdf.

So im 300km from home with a blocked pdf.
Van goes into limpe mode.
Can i drive it home like this?
Van is a t5.1 2012 180.

Your taking a risk. You can put a lot of strain on the turbo etc with the back pressure.

How'd you know it's blocked? If it's just the dpf light has popped on, then you just need to keep driving, that is assuming the van is running fine. If the engine or glow plug light are on, then I wouldn't risk keeping going as it won't go into regen mode and you'll create even more soot.

Was at the vw dealer yesterday, they tried to do a regen but they could not do it.
So i need to get the van home.
They told me the pdf had 1.8 of 2.2 of being blocked.
I dont know what that means

But what if i just take off the vacume hose from the turbo.
Will this be like running the van without turbo.
I know it will be slow but aslong as i get home it will be ok

If they can't force regen the dpf, then it won't self regen either. I would be trying to spray a dpf cleaner into the dpf, but I'm guessing you won't have any tools or a friendly garage to help you with this.

If you were able to locate the dpf pressure hose before to dpf and remove that, then that's where you would spray the cleaner into. Apart from that, I think your best getting recovered.
