Blackvue Rear Camera Cable Length

Hi all. My local ICE installer is telling me the cable won't be long enough to fit the cam on the tailgate. Said will have to fit to headlining about 4 inches away. This is no good to me as I have limo tint and window blinds. Is there another way?

Go for a Thinkware instead, the cable reaches no problem and it's a better camera system

I’ve got a BlackVue and mines in the back window at the top I’ve got limo tint and it works well. I put the cable through myself there was plenty long enough cable

I brought mine on line through Halfords as they don’t keep them in the shops and then paid extra £30 to have it fitted. They were cheapest on web including battery protection gadget that cuts off when battery gets low so it records full time

Hi I also have the blackvue with the rear camera fitted at top centre of the rear screen fitted it myself . Again the front to rear cable was plenty long enough, very pleased with the blackvue £230 from Halfords at the moment.
