Afternoon all.
Hoping someone maybe able aid me in my search for a black 230v hook up male plug.

Obviously I can spray a standard blue but rather have a black plastic one.
Thanks.

Have never seen a black one buddy, only ever the blue to indicate it's 240V.

That reminds me I need to get a hook up line purchased, as well a 240V out into trailing socket.

No I havent either, just thought I would post and see if anyone else has, it maybe a legal requirement?.

Im a sparky and never seen one only blue or yellow
Blue = 230/240V
Yellow = 110V

Purple is 24, Yellow is 110 and blue is 240V as far as I know. Like you say probably a legal thing.

Looks like @Pauly was typing that out at exactly the same time as me - wasn't copying him honest.

You will not get a BS 240v 16A Plug or Socket in anything other than Blue. If you want 1 you will have to make 1 I am afraid.:(

Hummm. Thanks guys, thought that might be the case.. guess it's a spray can job!.:(

Just wondered what folks thought of these. They are black and about 1/4 the size of the blue ones. I only use mains to charge the battery so might go down this route.

Why do you want a black one @Fish?

Nothing i do seems to be simple!. And blue just look wrong on the back.. tried the bonnet version and did t like having to open bonnet all time to connect.. so going to install to rear, also helps with home plug in point, which when parked up is about 1m from point.

Mine is tucked under the rest bumper; inlet on left corner, outlet on right corner. Where are you putting yours? My only concern is that if I get that Exploria rear bumper valance and twin oval exhaust, they'll probably be in the way. Bugger!

It will sit opposite the towbar electrics. So it should work fine mate..
