I have a 74 plate BE panel van and I’m considering putting windows in (sliding door, behind driver & Tailgate) but keep thinking I’ll be losing it’s originality and potential value.

Am I overthinking this?? What’s other people’s thoughts good or bad 🤔

Thanks for your opinions @T6Paul & @Macp I think I want them, not sure I need them 🤔😂, but also understand the extra benefit as well. I just need to get my head round it losing its originality which someone has put in my head!!! It’s resale value will be what it is. I plan to carpet line it anyway, so it didn’t come like that either.

I have a converted Sportline. Came as a panel van from factory previous owner fitted rear windows and carpeted to rear. I have since spent a small fortune fitting rear matching Sportline seats. The van has also been lowered more and 20 inch alloys fitted but I don’t think it’s any less a sportline because of the mods. I use to like and think original is better but you need to do what suits you and your wants and needs.

@Chippie1 like the others have said your right I just need to do it how I want! I found it easier to do my previous highline….still didn’t put windows in 😂😂 but small fortune spent on lowering, alloys etc etc

I'm not sure if this might help with your thoughts, but this is my Sportline which started life as a Panel van.
The only thing I would say, is that they are quite dark and can be hard to see through at night.

Thanks for the pics @T32Rich. Is the glass from camper glass and have you done tailgate

The van was already done when I bought it, including bulkhead removal, Interior Lining etc. The Tailgate is still unglazed with a spoiler and works really well for us, as I have a camping pod in the back which converts to a bed etc.
I did have a small issue with the windows after a while, but managed to track down the parts and repair myself.
I contacted the manufacturer directly to find a supplier. Details should be on the PDF below.
