Black Edition Shocks?

Hey all.. I have a 2019 TDI340 T6 Black Edition. I believe these came with a lowered ride height and stiffer suspension.

I'm looking to replace my front shock absorbers as they are leaking oil. Does anyone know of any suitable aftermarket options or do I have to buy a VW part? If I'm correct, I cannot just put a standard T6 shock absorber as it would be a mismatch to the ride height and spring rate.

It's the Black Edition in Australia. Came with 20mm lowered springs and a stiffer shock. It's not a coilover though.

Aha, didn't think it sounded like a UK model

I suspect it will be just a standard shock absorber with a lowered spring, which is VW's normal route, which gives a poor ride - Maybe use this time to upgrade - Because the price of a pair of front shock absorbers from VW probably will be expensive, I would put that money towards a decent aftermarket suspension upgrade.

Thanks all.. it was difficult to figure out which aftermarket suspension was right for my vehicle which came lowered, so I just ordered standard vw replacements, which were valved correctly for the 20mm factory drop.
