It's basic physics, the greater the lever the greater the force applied.. That is why all the tyre comparison sites recommend staying within 3.5% of original size for braking and gearing etc.

Speedo error is just another artifact of going bigger..

Completely agree (Not meaning to have an internet argument). My general point is that the proposed tyres above are fine in my humble opinion

The second number is a %, not mm

I only found this out myself last year when I was working out what tyres to get for my T6. Previous to that I always thought it was mm too!
