Best lowering for 20 inch wheels?

Hi All

I am looking at purchasing a T6 which has already been lowered 30mm on 18 inch wheels. Current tyres are 225/40/18 but it still looks quite high (exposed arch gap)

Question Is, I'm looking at getting 20 inch alloys for it with 255/35/20 tyres, will this make it look lower, as the wheels will sit in the arch, or will it just look a lot higher?

I don't really want to go into air suspension, but I also want a bit of comfort in the ride.

Not surprised on arch gap if you're running 225 40 18. That tyre is way too small and under rated for a T6.

I run 255 40 20 and it's a bit better comfort wise and more kurb protection.

Is that a bad choice? The 18's look small to me, I want bigger to make the stance look better

I would go up a bit on the profile of the tyre, I had 2 cracked alloys running on 35. No issues since going 45 front and 40 rear, CC2's on 20".

Hello Iv got 20” staggered wheels on my t32 on stance+ coilovers with stance+ proline rear shocks rear adjuster delete with polli spring top bush and on front Iv gone as low as possible with machined top mount which allows u to drop around another 15/20mm lower Iv got 255/35/20s and it rides ok not too bouncy and no scrubbing on any arches other then a small bit on inner arch

The tires on the rear in these pictures were 275/35/20 but here’s on we out the 255/35/20s

Iv tried to get the rest down but it’s as low as I can get it on coilovers Iv removed bump stops and adjusters put the adjustable stance shocks on and dropped them as low as they will go but rear still sits higher than front

Th Ed second pic I put is how it sits now on the rear adjustable shocks it’s a bit better but still would like a little more I think I’m down on rear by around 120/130mm and about 110/120mm on front
