Barn door closing from the inside

How have you guys managed to close your barn door from the inside ??

Looking for inspiration

There's a pull next to the lock button

the top part is the door release , the bottom bit is meant to a sort of handle for you to pull the door closed with .

Mine is a T6.1 and is simple a switch to open. But no handle to pull on

Watching with interest - Don't know why they eliminated the pull handle on the T6.1

You could add a genuine boot handle.

Top edge of the door, part of the latch I think... you can pull it shut using that.

I can’t remember mine before I trimmed it. Is there something solid to attach a handle to? I could design and print a suitable handle if I knew what I was aiming towards.

Nothing thre just a little button. I'm planning on a handle screwed onto the flat door card next to the release button. If you could print a pull of so.e kind with a VW or T6.1 on that would be amazing

Does anyone have dimensions or a photo of the original hole in the panel. My panel is a retrofit.
I’ll design something suitable that contains the original switch (just measured mine) and also a recessed handle. I don’t want to make something that needs a smaller hole than is already there though.

here’s where I’m at so far. Switch will clip in the slot, and the left will act as a handle. Still need to do the back so that it stays in the panel when you pull it.

Very cool. There is enough wire to move the location so there is plenty of space behind
