Backlighting on dials dash lights. Does anyone know the fuse my dials no longer light up.

putting a piggy back fuse in I think I may have removed a fuse I shouldnt have done and put it in the wrong place. As I’ve noticed that my dials are not back light anymore. Does anyone one by any chance which fuse it is ?

Easiest way is to look at the slots and see which one has contacts both sides - that will be the one that you should be using. ( or refer to the photo that you took before messing around with the fuses )

Otherwise check the fuse in the post below. (it's the brown 7.5amp fuse)

Interior and sidelights out - can’t find fuse

Can someone please help I have blown the interior light on my T6 I can’t find the correct fuse to replace I have also noticed my back lights don’t work and the puddle lights don’t work either :(

Hi, yes still off even with key in ignition and full beam on. I don’t seem to have 7.5 amp brown fuse. I have checked all the fuses but still the issue persist.

It may be me, but I can see what appear to be two brown fuses, marked 7.5 in the photo?
One directly below the piggyback, the other to the left of it, 3rd one down?

Hi, yes I’ve checked all the fuses including the 7.5 amp fuses. They all seem ok.

hi, that for me adjusts the headlight angle

If that is the angle adjustment (mine is also the headlight height adjustment), the brightness adjustment will be in the infotainment system (under Vehicle/settings/light. There is a sliding brightness adjuster.

I didn’t realise that was an option.

Can I ask; how many fuses are in your piggyback connector?
I only ask as I’ve never fitted one and have been reading about them.

There’s 2. One as to replace the original the piggy back is now occupying and another for the circuit it creates
