I am about to have a pop top put on the van and I am going to lose my roof bar awning C rail.
I'm thinking about a cassette awning (probably the dometic PW 1100) which comes with T6 brackets but I've seen people fit them with a multirail. I'm guessing fitting with a multirail is there to give you more options than the brackets do on their own?
We do have a drive away awning that I don't particularly like to use but I'm reluctant to lose all use of it.
Maybe a multirail and a stitches and steel type awning is a better solution for me?
