Awning removal aftermath….

I have just removed an awning from my T6. Removed the aluminium brackets that were bolted and glued down. They were glued with black sealant - it is IMPOSSIBLE to shift. Would anyone care to recommend a product/method that will shift this stuff? Many thanks in advance.

once you have scraped off(with a plastic edge) all you can, then depending on what the sealant is, you may find white spirit or tar remover will work on what's left.

When Skyline adjusted my F45s bracket forward, they mentioned that my convertor must have applied etch prior to sikaflex.....has left a dull finish
