We have the Airhub Hex which was the forerunner to the Hexaway - effectively it is the same product (minus a few design tweaks over the last couple of years and without the driveway tunnel). Last year we were seriously looking at replacing our Vango Kela III with the Hexaway but decided against it; the main issue for us was the webbing straps running between opposite poles (which, in the absence of a sewn in groundsheet, are an integral part of forming/maintaning the Hex shape) and the base of the poles where any water naturally pools (more so than it ever did in our Kela) - both of these can get sodden and take an age to dry out when they do - probably OK for summer camping but we found that every time we used it we were having to get it out again at home to dry out.
Don't get me wrong, aside from the above, we love the overall quality and design of the Hex/Hexaway and, if looking at another drive-away, the Hexaway would be at the top of the list for us.
Our Kela has now been sold on but we will be keeping the Hex indefinitely for use as a gazebo at home and communal space when we go away with small groups.
