Average tyre life after lowering

Had my van lowered for around 6 month now and done around 4-5k miles and the rear tyres are pretty much shot
Any advice ?
What sort of wear pattern? When did you last have the alignment checked? Lowered by what extent? It is difficult to say without seeing or having all the facts

Sorry should of explained better
Lowered the van around 100mm so low lows
And the wear is very even
Tyres I have on are royal black 275 35 20

U normally get 10-12k miles for the fronts,

Rears last longer

I'm about 80mm down, maybe a bit more and I have had over 30k miles from a set of Devanti winter tyres. Been on nearly 4 years and were slightly used when I bought the wheels.

Also have never heard of royal black tyres! They may be poor quality, what season are they? It is important to buy quality tyres, you life and others depend on such a small patch keeping it all together. Its can also be be false economy to purchase cheap tyres. Have the tracking alignment done and buy tyres from the top tyre companies.

Royal Black tyres are made in China.

That being the case take any claims they make regarding specs or standards with a pinch of salt. A three peaks marking on Chinese tyres is about as reliable as C E markings on their electrical gear.

Is it just me? I mean, I didn't spend 50 large buying a van to try and save pennies on tyres. Cancer medicine, condoms and tyres aren't worth skimping on.

have the tracking investigated and replace all of them for something from any of these 1st order manufacturers, Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin, Pirelli, cannot go wrong with these, their are a host of good quality 2nd order manufactures tyres but stay with known respected brands. Have a look on Tyre Reviews or a review of magazine articles.
