Auto hold error

Absolutely newbie here folks ,
T6.1 manual 2022 reg, diesel,
Do they have hill hold assist as standard??!
The mfd sometimes displays hold assist errors or something like that , I was getting some work done on the Van and the guy who has a similar Van said his one has auto hold that if you stop on a hill release the brake the van is automatically held but mine does not do that?

Yes hill hold is standard... It's part of the abs system.

It keeps the brakes held for a few seconds untill you pull away. In traffic or on a upwards hill.

Thanks , mine just rolls down the hill !! Think I better get it checked

On mine you do have to press the brakes a bit harder than required to hold it from rolling back, for the hill hold to work properly when releasing the brakes.
But if the MFD had displayed faults, then the van ECU's will have specific fault codes logged.
