Hey mmi, just while you’re there !!!! I always get that and 😡😡😡😡 . But anyway!! I did see a post about clutch wear can you give any indication on my clutch condition?? I have got to do the DMF soon before it explodes!! Obviously the clutch is a different beast. Thanks for your time and help so far by the way 👌

different laptop !!!!!!
Thanks for the files. Well, the controllers seem to work as expected.

Front 245/45/20
Rear 275/40/20
Hmmm, front tyres would make the speedo underread -8.1% compared to factory tyres (205/65-16). There is also 1.6% difference between front and rear axles.
I'm highly confident that the front radar also measures speed internally - being a doppler radar.

Have you adjusted the speedo to display correct speed?

In the thread below it is suggested that big wheels possibly confuse front radar

But then it has been assured that big wheels won't cause any issues

Well now I’m confused 😵‍💫 doesn’t take a lot 😂😂
So the wheels and tyres have been on the van a couple of years now and this is only a recent thing ?? I haven’t changed anything regarding the Speedo but do want to but was unsure of what was the correct process ?
How did you know what the coding was for the radar from factory ? What would you recommend doing now ?

Just my guess - based on quite a few (hundred or so) VCDS Scans of T6 - DSG and towbar seem to be factored in, nothing else affecting on T6 - thus only few different codings has been used.
Also I wouldn't expect there would be a unique/secret coding for your van.

Yes, I would start by changing the radar coding, or the speedo - not both at the same time - just to learn :geek:

Well, that's just a theory that it's the wheels. Certainly the tyres wear... if it has been just on the edge....

T6 is an easy one

Ok so radar settings didn’t have an effect on the issues but the coding for the speed did.
Now I have no messages from the radar and no implausible data from the abs
The K number was at 1 and I changed it to 3 and it’s quite accurate with a gps speed reading.
Thank you kindly mmi for all your help 👏👏 I’m so glad I didn’t have to repair the gearbox!!
