Armrests

So I bought some EBay armrests for £40. Surprisingly, they are pretty good.

They came without any instructions and there is a supplied component that I didn’t know what to do with (pictured - metal clip things).

Has anyone else fitted these armrests - anyone know what the metal clips are for?

No idea what the parts are but you seem to have done a really good job fitting them.

That’s very kind of you to say that. Watched a few YouTube vids on how to remove seat covers. The armrest mounts needed some holes drilling in the seat frame but that was straight forward. I would recommend these armrests if anyone wanted to avoid paying big bucks for VW originals.
